ILD is indeed depressing but that's not all it is; it's got mind blowing cinematography, a stunning soundtrack and of course, it's got Oscar Isaac. Somewhere through the movie, you'll realize that you know a Llewyn in your life and if you don't, you're probably him. A struggling musician who is homeless, befriends people along the way to make something out of his music. It may not really have much to grip you in it but it's still one of the finest indie movies that definitely makes your heart heavy.

Essentially this is a movie about an aspiring dancer in the city of New York trying to scrape together a life. It is fairly simple with no complicated subplots. Almost every character introduced is a raging symbol of something Frances can't have. If you want a reason to watch this movie, there is a scene where the protagonist talks about how she wants to have a connection with somebody even when their across the room, a connection, a world built just for them even if they're a few meters apart. Its quite beautiful, as is most of the movie. Plus, the entire movie is shot in monochrome.

There are many a dark-intense-disturbing murder flicks to chose from but this one tops it all. The credits we can add to this movie doesn't end with its beautiful cinematography, dark plot, or AMAZING villain. Watching the movie will leave you gasping and confused and I know I mentioned the amazing villain but let's not forget how Javier Bardem forever put every other anti-hero to shame with his broody, country assassin.

Before Moffat had Doctor Who and Sherlock to his name, Coupling did more justice to his genius script writing skills. Hilarious, autobiographical and genuine, coupling is the original from which every sitcom in the future will uphold the standard. Coupling has the most relatable friends' circle with the funny one, the quirky one, the stupid one, the couple in love, the sexy one and the pervert. The finest british television from the 90s.

There are many things to say about WWDITS; its clever, indignant humor, its ironic movie making, its hilarious(!) characters. For lovers of indie movies, this is a treat and a surprise, never before has vampire comedy been explored with such a delightful cast and easy storyline; four vampires share a flat and have to life a camouflaged life within mortals. Each one of the flatmates have their own humane flaws that essentially adds to the chuckles. Plus, added fun, we have a warped and heart warming love story.
