Netflix combined with Marvel(MCU) to announce the return of the popular comic book hero Daredevil last year.The start of five -series eventually leading up to the formation of "Defenders", Daredevil features Charlie cox as Matt Murdoch and Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.The series is based on the fascinating and painful tale of Matt Murdoch, Lawyer by day, Vigilante by night uses his heightened senses to fight crime in New York's Hell's Kitchen.Its safe to say that Marvel's Daredevil is completely different mould from Iron Man, Thor and other movies from Marvel CInematic Universe.The show is aesthetically darker with gripping violence. Yet the show brings forth different characters portrayed brilliantly and effortlessly by a quality cast.Charlie cox has thrived in being amazingly charming as Matt Murdoch,but kicks some ass when he puts on the mask.Vincent D'Onofario has brought Wilson Fisk to life by playing the role with creative intensity .
The Camera work remains one of the show's winners with red and black for colour favourites to compliment the show's dark theme,Daredevil has been renewed for a second season and those who haven't seen should give it a shot! In Daredevil, Netflix and Marvel have a Solid Winner.

Sean Penn won Best Actor and Tim Robbins won Best Supporting Actor, making Mystic River the first film to win both awards since Ben-Hur in 1959.

Tony Gilroy of Bourne Series Fame directs this movie with an Star studded Ensemble which include George Clooney,Tilda Swinton,Tom wilkinson and sydney pollack. The film shows the attempts by attorney Michael Clayton(Clooney) to cope with a colleague's apparent mental breakdown, and the corruption and intrigue surrounding a major client of his law firm being sued in a class action case over the effects of toxic agrochemicals.Though the script is pretty simple,the character portrayal is noteworthy.

Game of Thrones is a Medieval Fantasy Drama produced by HBO.Adapted from George R.R Martin's series of fantasy novels titled A Game of Thrones.The show boasts an Star studded cast consisting of Sean Bean,Peter Dinklage,Emilia Clarke and so on.The basic plot is set on fictional continents of Westeros and Essos interweaves several plot lines of seven noble families all in war for the Iron Throne.Through its morally ambiguous characters, the series explores issues of social hierarchy, religion, civil war, sexuality, crime and punishment.Brilliant screenplay and acting makes this series a must watch!

A new age Film Noir.Drive is a movie adapted from a James Sallis novel of the same name.With Ryan Gosling as the lead actor portraying a Hollywood Stuntman and his life.This mivie recieved much critical acclaim at the 2011 Cannes Film festival. Very well written screenplay and a great concept coupled with great acting makes this a must watch for people like me.
