Crushes The Expectations
When one starts remaking a near perfect anime series into a movie, he must have it in mind the concepts used in the original series which captivated so many spectators. 10 minutes into the movie, you realize how fast paced the movie is. The dialogue delivery seemed like I was watching the movie at 1.25x. You think there must be something in the middle part for which the beginning had been so fast paced. But when you reach through the end of the movie, you realize that you felt nothing. Given that the plot was already cooked, I do not think that the director did it right to erase some of the important parts of the series from the movie. Light did not have much depth. We really did not care... |
