The only Bollywood movie to have a 1 hour long climax. Really, hats off to Neeraj Pandey for taking up this project. It also stars Kay Kay Menon(Bilal Khan), Taapsee Pannu(Akshay's colleague),Anupam Kher,Rana Daggubati and Danny Denzongpa in key roles. It's about a temporary group of RAW agents who plan a mission to get rid of terrorism internationally. After A Wednesday and Special 26, Neeraj Pandey again came up with this edge of the seat thriller. BLOCKBUSTER.

Imtiaz Ali is known for his unique style of filmmaking. His movies are often complex which are not everyone's cup of tea. Tamasha is one of them. This story revolves around Ved who is submerged into stories since childhood. He lives every moment of the stories. Often, he got confused because according to him all stories are the same. Be it is Ramayana, Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha or any other story, he believed all are the same. He is shown as a story addict who wants to be a narrator and pursue the field of acting. Due to peer pressure, he is forced to do engineering. Hence, all his dreams are shattered. His complex character is the result of all the unfair and unwanted things which were forcefully brought into his life. He meets Tara. Like every other story, they fall in love. Followed by a 'Judaai' phase, it's not the love story but one's dream and career which Ali focusses on and for that he deserves applause. The theme is that all the stories are the same, but the ending is in our own hands. We are all actors who are playing their respective roles in life. So if we want we may change our story and live happily. It is a must watch for one and all who think Bollywood is running short of concepts. Why Always The Same Story?

Zulfiqar-Based on William Shakespeare's 'Julius Caesar' and 'Antony and Cleopatra'....Aftr the classics lyk 'Autograph','Baishe Shrabon','Hemlock Society','Mishawr Rohosyo',etc.,Srijit Mukherji comes up with his dream star cast in Zulfiqar(Prosenjit as Zulfiqar Ahmed/Julius Caesar)....Dev(Markaz Ali/Marcus) plays a dumb character nd quite surprisingly his performance is flawless...Parambrata(Tony Braganza/Antonio) is the man with the swag...He is always as usual top notch....Ankush(Akhtar/Octavius) too deserves applause...Kaushik Sen(Basheer Khan/Brutus),Jishu Sengupta(Kashinath Kundu/Cassius) and Rahul deserve a special mention....From dialogues to direction,from the action sequences(Death Race being the best) to the abusive crime sequences and background score,this film has a lot to offer....Combining Shakespeare's two dramas in a single movie with the Kolkata Underworld(Khidderpore Dock) angle to it,Srijit makes it a commercial but not suitable for all movie....Anupam Roy's music nd vocals blend well with the flow of the movie......Though,the movie also has certain minor errors and does lag a bit in the second half...But,the climax is what you would b waitng fr....
Note:- It's definitely one of the best commercial movies in Tollywood...But,it might nt get the tag of one of Srijit Mukherji's classics due to its commercial quotient....

Totally unpredictable.....Based on Shirshendu Mukherjee's novel.....Hats off to the star cast as well as the talented director Arindam Sil.....After the Byomkesh series and Ebar Shabor,this is another perfect film delivered by him.....In order to set up the base of the story and perfect characterisation,the first half is a drag....Followed by an excellent second half....In short,a sure shot winner......

A Kamaleshwar Mukherjee directorial. This movie is an adaptation of the novel by the same name. Unlike the book, this movie is only for children. The brillkance of this flick is not even close to that of the book. Still, a decent watch.

Raman Raghav 2.0 marks the comeback of Anurag Kashyap after the debacle of Bombay Velvet. Initially, it was touted to be a biopic of Ramanna-the infamous serial killer of Mumbai. As the producers refused to provide him more than 5 crores, he went on to make a modern day crime saga with Ramanna's killer antics. Instead of keeping the same story, Anurag diluted the story instead, whatwith the innovation of Raghav as a drug addict policeman whose characterisation was complex and dirty. The movie is expressed in chapters just like his masterpiece, 'Black Friday'. Nawazuddin steals the show with the realistic portrayal of Ramanna. Vicky Kaushal as Raghavan is equally good. He gets enough screen time to showcase his talent. This movie is really a game changer for him. He manages to get noticed in spite of sharing the screen space with Nawaz. RR 2.0 marks the acting debut of Sobhita Dhulipala and the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra. Kashyap keeps it raw wifh the locales of slum areas and offbeat songs. He also puts a complex angle about how actually Ramanna is attracted to Raghavan as they both shared something in common. During the second half, it gets a little boring with unnecessary elongation of certain scenes. It already received standing ovasion in International Film Festivals. The above line speaks everything. Maybe it's not his best,but definitely it's a sure shot Winner.

Te3n is a thriller which is directed by debutant Ribhu Dasgupta. Starring Amitabh Bachchan(John Biswas) and Nawazuddin Siddiqui(Martin Das) in lead roles, it also stars Vidya Balan and Sabyasachi Chakraborty in key roles. The story revolves around the kidnap and murder of Amitabh's grand-daughter. Big B's only aim is to achieve justice and find out the main culprit. Surprisingly, the same old crime is repeated after 8 long years and this time the victim is Sabyasachi's daughter. The same process of kidnapping is followed. Hence, Big B couldn't afford miss this golden chance to catch the criminal. As a result, he seeks the help of a female cop(Vidya Balan) and an ex-policeman(Nawaz), who is presently, a priest. What follows is ample suspense accompanied with lots of twists and turns. Top notch performances by the star cast helped the movie but the pace is very slow for a suspense thriller. Nevertheless, it is an awesome watch, whatwith an unpredictable climax.

After Mary Kom, Omung Kumar comes back with another biopic which is equally emotional and patriotic. Randeep Hooda(Sarbjit) proves his acting prowess once again. His performance would definitely send chills down your spine. Aishwarya, as Sarbjit's sister who fights for her brother for 22 years, is decent. In spite of loopholes, this film is still very much watchable. Randeep's performance was lauded by classes and masses alike. Truly, he deserves a National Award. The film focuses on the real life incident when Sarbjit was found near Pakistan border. Hence, the Pakistan army arrested him and put charges on him of being a terrorist from India. Then begins his sister's journey and sacrifice to prove her brother innocent get him out of jail.
Though the director stayed away from showing the politics surrounding Sarbjit, as it could have created tension among many people, still it makes up for a decent watch.

Aftr Ghajini and Holiday,A.R.Murugadoss comes up with Akira-who fights against all odds and sacrifices her freedom and career for the so called society-filled with corruption in the form of ACP Rane(Anurag Kashyap) and others...
Dialogues r praiseworthy...Performances deserve a big Thumbs Up....The protagonist is NOT the 'one-man-army' type,unlike the other stereotypical flicks....
The second half lags a bit,whatwith certain faults,bt those r easily passable....An interesting watch,thnks to its non-love story plot and only two songs(placed during crucial moments)....
What follows is an inspiring and emotional ending....Must watch...Specially fr every grl...

Probably, the best film delivered by the ace filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. One of the finest performances by Hrithik Roshan who plays the role of a paralysed magician named Ethan Mascarenhas. Aditya Roy Kapur plays the role of an aspiring magician named Omar Siddiqui. It is a lyrical film. It starts and ends like a poetry. This movie deals with a serious topic named Euthenesia-the permission to kill oneself. Simply, it's nothing short of being a masterpiece.
