Since its based (or believed to be based) on true events, you can't complain about plot or climax or compare it with a typical horror movie. Being said that the movie has its fair share of horror, jump scare, tension and cliches . I loved the craft used to build tension and it was effective.

In a time when sequels aren't doing so well (now you see me 2, tmnt 2, X:Men, Alice) Conjuring 2 scored a almost as good as the first $40 m and even the cinemascore is A-, same as the last one. Warcraft opened superb in China with $156 m when it made only $24 m in the US. China is on the route to become the largest film industry in terms of the money it makes by the end of 2017. It is one of the few films that has made more money in China than in the US (Life of Pi, Terminator Genysys etc are few others). Now You See Me 2 has fared really poor with the critics as well as with the audience and this has reflected in its BO performance. It doesn't look like it will make even $60-$70 m in this pace. X Men by domestic market is the least earned X-Men in the whole series. Alice is a total loss case. Jungle Book has crossed a fantastic and surprising total of $900 m globally while CA is sitting comfortable as this year's highest grosser with $1.1 b. #surajFilmPulp

Scary and EFFECTIVE
The Conjuring 2 Movie Review :
Based on the real life events in Enfield, England. 1977. The Conjuring 2 Follows the further adventures and investigations of the Warrens.
BUT the thing is… This isn’t a typical horror film.
Spoilers:
NO ONE dies during the course of the movie! Huge surprise, no one died in the previous Conjuring movie too.
The scares are genuine, the acting is good and this movie has surprisingly involving humane moment sprinkled throughout its runtime.
This movie, just like the previous part is not by the numbers.
Sure the movie has its share of clichés and typical jump scare moments, but the difference between this and other low grade horror films is that they actually SUCCEED in scaring you, making you feel for the characters and making you care for them and how the climax takes shape.
Overall it’s more of an investigative adventure than a just horror film.
The acting by the two leads and then four children is VERY solid and you start to believe them as real people.
The direction by James Wan of Fast 7 & SAW fame is meticulous and perfect. The music is adequate without being overbearing. All in all, a well put together film.
Fans of the horror genre who liked the previous movie will njoy this one a lot.
Rating: 7.5/10. Must watch for horror fans.
P.S : Wait for the end credits where the play the REAL tape of the incidents in the movie. This audio was scarier than anything in the movie. Because this audio is REAL.

This coming weekend we have 2 sequels releasing, the successful The Conjuring 2 and fan favourite Now You See Me 2 . The Conjuring sequel has so far scored well with the critics with 85% RT score in 20 critics, while not so much for NYSM 2 which is at 42% with 12 critics, HR says,"No less than in the glossy caper's 2013 predecessor, the plot rides a surging tide of ridiculousness and culminates in a pileup of unconvincing explanations." Warcraft as expected is looking like it is going to head towards another huge flop like Alice and TMNT sequel. CA is still going good in terms of hold overs and will touch the $400 m mark by the next weekend or week. #theconjuring #surajsfilmpulp #nowyouseeme
