Waiting Plot
Veteran acting legend Naseeruddin Shah and rising star Kalki Koechlin are the charismatic stars of director Anu Menon’s drama WAITING, playing two strangers who meet in a hospital, where their respective partners lie in a coma. Their meeting sees them start to re-examine what they want to do with their lives as they deal with their grief and sadness. But while it might sound gloomy, the film is punctuated with moments of warmth and humour as they each bond with each other and learn to deal with loss.

Watch it if you are OK with offbeat cinima
3.5/5 #offbeat #mature #wellActed #realistic Once in a while, it is good to watch a movie like this to balance out the guilty pleasure you have been watching rest of the time. The movie brilliantly shows different characters and justifies them. In the end, the movie manages to make the audience a part of itself (if you find ending too weird, think about the title of the movie). Being said that it is not a movie to enjoy on a cozy weekend. If you are looking for a lighthearted entertaining movie, this may not be the best movie to watch, though it is entertaining in its own way. |
