The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is the story of coming of age of an introvert adolescent entering adulthood.The movie is simple yet complicated as it deals with homosexuality,drugs and death.Its not another high school drama cos the story remains realistic and never gets over the top, sappy,flashy or over-emotional.The romance is rather credibly lovely than a mainstream claptrap.Reminded me of FREAKS AND GEEKS at times.This is a movie with great script,direction,music,dialogues and power-packed performances.If not for anything watch it for Emma Watson. |
