Must Watch
The movie is set in late 1800s or early 1900s. As you expect from the title of the movie, movie has some extravagance of a hotel to show. Started on a lighter note, it starts becoming suspense and thrill with little comedy and action. The french style, the quick movements, the gothic buildings and biblical fonts amaze you. Entire movie is set in a cold snowy environment. Each scene has a little comedy touch. And of course, the background score adds to the beauty of it. Nice direction, especially the instantaneous camera zooms from the white snow to the actors. For those, who love happy endings, the movie won't upset. In all, good movie, watchable. |
