The Game Plot
In honor of his birthday, San Francisco banker Nicholas Van Orton, a financial genius and a coldhearted loner, receives an unusual present from his younger brother, Conrad -- a gift certificate to play a unique kind of game. In nary a nanosecond, Nicholas finds himself consumed by a dangerous set of ever-changing rules, unable to distinguish where the charade ends and reality begins.

If you are thinking this movie is about certain game we play in our day to day life for entertainment, Don't think any kind of certainty about this, you are completely wrong. It is the game which is played psychologically and can destroy a person both mentally and physically. screenplay is so smoothly written that you cant go in your own world for a second, you start living inside the movie. The direction is too good & David Fincher has taken care of every thing so precisely that it cant look like fake. The cinematographer has done his work so well that every frame is unique and makes you to feel and makes you to watch anything going inside the frame. Editor too have done his job precisely... |
