Ugh
Just re-watched since the fifth is coming soon. This is only the second time I've seen this movie. I have to say that it is so lacking compared to other films. Elizabeth and Will are missing and that's fine, their storyline ended. But other characters in Jack's crew like Cotton and that guy with the fake eye among others are sorely missing. This movie was held up but only Jack, Barbossa, and Gibbs. The plot is bland and predictable. Also (spoiler ahead) the mermaid drags the religious guy into a bottomless ocean and we are supposed to assume she won't kill him because they had insta love. Overall the movie felt like fanfiction |
