Two years ago I saw two animated movies about children dealing with childhood issues while taking on said issues through fantasy. These two films were never screened in my country again, and I wondered, "Why can't Hollywood do something like these? 100% harmless cartoons about kids that they and quite possibly their parents can relate to without all the distracting toilet trash and PG bait found in every other animated film produced there? And a bit of homebrew hand-drawn animation to satisfy my urge?"
Two years later, my prayers have been answered in a 3D Peanuts movie from the studio behind Rio 2. Fancy that. |
