From before Silicon Valley was cool zone
When we talk about AMC, the first show that comes up is The Walking Dead; and though I'm a huge fan of that show, I'll still always try to draw the attention to Halt and Catch Fire. Set in the early 80s, this show takes us through the lives of five very different individuals tied together through their love for technology and innovation.
A couple who has settled for the suburban lifestyle with two kids and stable jobs even though they are tech geniuses, an egoistic corporate progeny who believes in ideas more than he believes in himself, a young coder who can give Mark Zuckerberg a run for his money and a small time businessman who keeps their hopes high and their reality grounded.
